What if a taxi could do more than take you home?
Cities are full of professional vehicles that spend the day waiting, circling and driving empty, and their only product is the fare. ETIOCA began with a simple conviction: redesign the vehicle itself, so that every hour on the street creates value for drivers, passengers, towns and children.

From a bare steel frame to a working vehicle with screens, a ramp and a passenger cabin, the ETIOCA prototype was engineered and coachbuilt in Turin, the home of Italian car design.

From an idea to Britain's roads.
The idea
Mark Ishakov and Anna Ishakova design a vehicle and a business in which the taxi becomes productive city infrastructure.
Prototype built in Turin
The first ETIOCA is engineered and coachbuilt by hand, from frame to finished vehicle.
Patent filed, first presentation
The "Improved Transportation and Payment System" is filed, now patent pending under the PCT and in the US and China, and ETIOCA is presented to partners and press in Turin.

The Road Show: 31 cities, London included
For two years our show truck carried the prototype across Europe, and in every city we listened to taxi firms, driver associations and drivers. What they told us about miles, trips and fares shaped the ETIOCA operating model.

Industrial partners on board
Engineering, production, deployment and payments partners join the programme to take ETIOCA from prototype to production.
Recognition, and a British company
ETIOCA is named an official nominee of the 2027 Edison Awards, and prepares its UK operating company.
12,000 cars on British roads
The first ship brings 8,200 cars, the largest single delivery a car carrier can take, and further shipments complete 12,000 cars in Britain's big cities in the first half of 2028. They are part of 27,000 cars across the group that year, with 15,000 for Europe, and a 20% reserve fleet keeps the service running through breakdowns and repairs.
Up to 120,000 cars a year
Production then ramps up to 120,000 cars a year. Britain receives 70,000 cars over five years, growing from the big cities into smaller towns, and the rest go to Europe.

One vehicle, five kinds of value.
ETIOCA is recognised as an official nominee of the 2027 Edison Awards. Here is what we believe sets it apart: a single platform that adds to the economy, raises the standard of design, cuts emissions, protects people and gives back to children.
Jobs, not job cuts
Salaried, professional driving jobs with holiday pay and pensions, local operations centres, and new income from media, commerce and data that stays in the cities we serve.
Purpose-built
A vehicle designed for 20 hours a day of shared urban use: a protected driver cabin, step-free access, a wheelchair place and room for bikes and luggage.
Fewer, cleaner cars
One ETIOCA car does the work of about eight. It's electric in the city, with every zero-emission mile measured and less congestion on every street.
Safe by design
A full partition, cameras, an online alcohol interlock, automatic speed limits and disinfection after every trip, as standard.
21 children per car
Impact built into the business model: every car sponsors children at home and in Sierra Leone and Morocco, and the impact grows with the service.
